English paper piecing is not just about hexagons. There are many, many shapes that you can use. In fact it is about what ever shape you want it to be.
I use lots of different shapes in my quilt patterns and many of them marry together. Alot of the time I just play with the shapes to see what I can come up with. Childs play really.
IF THEY GO TOGETHER THEY SEW TOGETHER
I have decided that each Wednesday for a few weeks I am going to show you how some of the shapes go together. A bit like "Which goes with What Wednesdays"
So here you have it for this week.
BTW if you live in Tasmania and you would like to attend a Daley Demo Day in Hobart on either Friday or Saturday this week call The Quilted Crow Girls at Crow Central. It is a free morning with yummy morning tea. Go HERE for details

It will be so much fun to see how different shapes go together! I have only used hexagons for paper piecing but I want to try clam shells and other shapes. Thanks Sue!

LOVE today's blog. Thanks for providing more inspiration for us. Looks like I'm going to have to purchase some more shapes. :)
