Last weekend I hosted the first of a number of shop owners retreats at our B&B Kindred Spirits
It was wonderful catching up with shop owners that I already knew and others that I may only speak to on the phone and some brand new customers.
The girls all had a wonderful time mastering all of my techniques and are now well equipped for any questions that may arise in their shops.
English paper piecing, onlaid needleturn applique, reverse applique, traditional handpiecing and of course quilt as you go hexagons.
The weekend was jam packed full of
Eating,
A tapas platter and champagne on arrival
Sewing and learning,
Time to check out what is new here at Busyfingers
Very little sleeping and oh yes and a couple of hours shopping at Eumundi markets early on Saturday morning.
It all ended too soon but the girls all left full of inspiration and ideas for the new year.
You will notice on the right of my side bar under English Paper Piecing Specialists these are the 8 shops that attended the my first shop owner weekend. Go check them out as each one has something unique to offer.
Till next time
