I hope that you all had a fabulous Christmas and are enjoying the New Year.
I have just returned home from a family holiday cruising around New Zealand. We all had a fabulous time. The usual too much to eat but, very relaxing. It is a time that I can switch off from work and the hectic life I lead just to regenerate ready for a huge year ahead.
Every year I think I just cant fit anything else into my schedule but alas there is always room for something more.
I always kept 2 bucket lists. One for my business and one for my personal life.
2012 saw me cross off everything I had ever hoped for with my Patchwork with Busyfingers business. It was a very weird feeling I must admit.
However, shortly after crossing off the final dream on my list the opportunity came my way to become the disributor for Riley Blake Designs in Australia and the weird feeling disappeared and a whole new bucket list was created. YEAH!!!
Don't you just love BUCKET LISTS
I would like to take a minute to reflect on the year just gone before I tell you about the exciting year ahead.
I feel very blessed to have had so many opportunities come my way.

A great year :) And I guess 2013 will brings a lot of great happenings too :) Like you coming to Norway in April again.
I have now finished applique all 128 baskets and have started on the centerblock. It is so fun. But I am sewing faster and faster, becuse my read applique thread is close to empty and I can't find it anywhere here. So if I applique fast enough perhaps I have enough. Visiting Kathrine on saturday I am looking for a red fabric for the outher border.
Hope you will bring a "similar" quilt with a lot of applique for the workshop in Tønsberg. Needleturn is my favorite tecnique over all.
Hugs from me.

Well done Sue....it sure has been a WOW year. As a new "hexi" lover I have several of your projects either on the go or on the bucket list!!! Are Riley Blake fabrics available in shops or only on the website and are you coming to Melbourne for any classes, would love to do a class with you. Enjoy 2013 with the same personal/work balance. Take care....Annette

Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Sue. You have worked really hard and deserve all your success. One of the best quilting days for our group when you came to Maleny Fat Quarters (I know a long time ago). I wish you every success in the future too.
