A dear friend of mine once told me that bright colours make you happy. My answer to her was I am already happy.
However since I have added a brighter colour palet to my range of patterns I have to tell you she was right. She is always right. Maybe I should just listen to her more often. Don't get me wrong I still love working with the muddy colours and reproduction fabrics but you do just feel a little different.
This one is now holidaying at my fabulous quilters house and I will reveal it as soon as I have the photos done.
I have used the new fabrics called "So Happy Together" by Deena Rutter for Riley Blake Designs
Not yet in your stores but they are definitely on their way and coming to a store near you very soon.
Do bright fabrics make you happy?
Have a great day.

yes they do! they are very cheerful and not depressing - although I do like quilts as you say of reproduction fabric also - I have two going of 1800's style and the rest are white and bright colors.

Your friend is so right! I find myself switching between the muddy colors and bright ones too. I love them both :-) Can't wait to see your quilt! Looks great!

Truthfully, almost every fabric makes me happy. :) But pastels and brights are very well represented in my stash.
