In between retreats and everything else life has on offer I have managed to finish one of my new quilts.
Did you notice I said one of my new quilts. There are so many at the moment
This quilt has been called "Port Roses"
Now this name has come about because of the lovely ladies I had here a couple of weeks ago from Port Macquarie and I was working on it at the time. Annnd they told me I had to name it that :)
So what does one do in that situation.
It has a wonderful scallop border fabric which I have obviously used on the borders but I have also fussy cut it for the flowers.
It is a Maywood Studio fabric called "Cottage Romance" available in your patchwork shops now.
Check back next week as there will be a draw for a pattern give away for this quilt.
Also next week is my turn for the Stitchers' Angel project
It is already to go I hope that you like what I have designed for you all.
Well I had better get back to it. More quilts to finish
Till next time
Take Care
