Just have to share the news with you all.
Last week I was contacted by Tim at Lloyd Curzons fabric to ask if I could design some projects from the knew range of fabric by Holly Holderman called "Dolls Dresses" for Quilt Market in November in Melbourne.
Well I waited patiently for the fabric to arrive and on Friday it landed on my doorstep. Gosh I love getting fabric.
Here is a little of it, there is more but it was missing for the photo.
You can go to Di Mill's blog and see it better there.
I did something that I don't normally do and that is design the quilt up front.
I usually just make it up as I go along and all is good.
Here is a little peek of a couple of the accessories.
There is a quilt for a little girls room and it is ooooh sooo pretty. BUT I can't reveal that yet and besides I have just sent it off to the quilter for an express job.
There are more accessories that I hope to get done to compliment the quilt
I am on a really tight schedule for the next 2 months as I too will also be having a stand at Quilt market and I am leaving to go early as I am teaching my way down the East coast of Australia as I make my way there.
Let me tell you I am very glad that I was organised early this year with new samples for my own stand.
And it's a miracle I even have the patterns written.
Well I had better get back to it, I can't see these things sewing themselves together while I am typing.
I will keep you posted with more of the projects as they are finished.
I can feel a give away coming up so remember to check back to find out what to do to win.
Till next time

Hi Sue,
wow, Holly's fabric itself is lovely, but what you made with it {the glimpse you allowed us to see} is even more gorgeous...I feel the whole finished quilt has to be strikingly beautiful and I can't wait to see it.
I hope you get all your things done in time & I wish you so much fun teaching & at the market {and, of couse, the success you definitely deserve...but I don't doubt that!}
Hugs, Julia
