Part 1 - Apple Cores
Why is it that it has been such a secret over the years on "How to English Paper Piece Apple cores"?
People love the shapes but simply don't know how to do them.. It's Easy!
Just follow my Step-by-step instructions on how to make EPP Apple cores and just like me I am sure you will become hooked!
Once you have sewn the rows together you simply interlock them and applique the edges.
Here's how it looks when it's finished!

I think people a scared of the curves. But it is as you say, easy to sew.

Sue - that is brilliant! I've always like the look, but could never figure out how to piece it without going crazy clipping tiny curves and swearing a lot! LOL You are the English Paper Piecing Queen - no doubt about it! Hope you are enjoying the summer - give my best to Jim. Suz

How do you get the fabric off the paper...isn't it glued down to the paper? Thanks...

Sue this technique is fantastic. It has made the process of joining the curves of the apple cores simple and straight forward. I can not believe how easy it is- even on the small apple core papers. Why did I not know about this before I started the "old fashion" way. Can not wait for more paper piecing tips. Thanks for sharing. Shelly
