The car is packed again and we are off to our second stop on our European Tour - 9 days in Norway.
Driving the great open roads of Norway on our way to Quiltefryd in Tonsberg. I can see some white fluffy stuff on the road side!
How great is this parking sign at the Quiltefryd Store.
Yep and it's snowing, great weather for snuggling indoors and sewing don't you think?
Meet Asne our great friend from the Quiltefryd Store in Tonsberg, Norway.
Here is their lovely shop and the great crowd we had the pleasure of interacting with over the 5 days.
We spent 4 days at the Quiltegaarden Store with Siw in Trondheim. The crowd eagerly awaits our trunk show.
Some ladies just couldn't stop sewing, even till 3am in the morning!
Here are some of their creations from my designs.
Under the Southern Stars quilt isn't it beautiful!
Meet Merete the amazing long arm quilter.
Anne is one of Norway's top designers and she is signing my pattern. I think the look on my face says it all.
Complete with dinner with friends, thanks Norway what a great time we had.

Looks like you had a great time Sue!! I've been lucky enough to go to Norway a couple of times to do courses with Anne (I think the Norwegian ladies thought I was a mad Englishwoman travelling alone and not speaking a word of Norwegian!!) but I made some great friends - (some of them are on your photos - Ann and Merete and Eva and Ruth...) I've made lots of Ann's patterns so I look forward to seeing what YOU make with them too!!

Hi Sue. My family and I went to Norway in 2010 and I went to Siw's shop in Trondheim. What a lovely lady and a lovely shop. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time.
